Background Information

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Dr. Salomone and Bass manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Drs. Salomone and Bass practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from multiple intraoral procedures to corrective jaw surgery and wisdom tooth removal. They can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries and TMJ disorders, and perform a full range of dental implant procedures.

Desert Oral Surgery’s staff is trained in assisting with I.V. sedation within our state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. In addition, general anesthesia provided by a board certified anesthesiologist is available within our facility.

Surgical Staff

The surgical staff at Desert Oral Surgery is experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of I.V. sedation and surgery. All staff is informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies and is CPR certified.
